- The Grim Frozen North – Along with the new expansion, the frozen lands of Northrend will finally open up to players. This feature is the update’s most important content, which will highlight fan-favorite storylines and epic vistas. Gamers will start their journey in the Borean Tundra or the Howling Fjord, the expansion’s two starting zones. These places will be the starting point for the heroes’ incursion into Icecrown to battle the Lich King.
- The Rise of the Death Knights – Death Knights have been one of the most popular classes in many WoW games, and they are now coming to the World of Warcraft Classic. This job is the game’s first Hero Class, which players can access at level 55 for both Horde and Alliance. Death Knights are described as adventurers who harnessed the power of the Lich King to combat the threat that the undead overlord and aggressors pose to Azeroth. Unlike previous WoW versions, Classic will bypass several requirements for every player’s first Death Knight.
- Inscription – WotLK will introduce Inscription as the game’s newest profession in WoW Classic. This field allows players to scribe mystical glyphs that can augment the properties of various spells and abilities. Practitioners of Inscription can also craft unique trinkets and off-hand items.
