Introduction Of Lokhitwadi

Lokhitwadi is a different name or short title of a famous politician, Gopal Hari Deshmukh. Maharashtra activist as well as social reformer, thinker and writer. Gopal Hari Deshmuh is excellent thinker, activist social reformer, writer and activist.

A library that was open to the public was created at Pune by Deshmuh under the guidance by Henry Brown, then governor of Bombay. He also donated books and books to Bombay University Library (1875). He was the main person behind the founding of Gyan Prakash, Indu Prakash and Lokhitwadi magazines in Maharashtra.
